On December 15th 2023 we paid tribute to Siobhán Lynch on her retirement as teacher and Deputy Principal from Granagh National School. Siobhán taught in the school for 35 years and was a tremendous support to both the school and community. We had a wonderful church service, followed by a gathering for refreshments, back at the school, of staff (past and present), parents, members of the Board of Management, the Parents' Association and Siobhán's family members. Thanks so much to the Parents' Association for organising the refreshments and for all their help on the day.
December the 22nd was an emotional day for everyone as Siobhán was bid a fond farewell by the staff and the pupils. She will be greatly missed by everyone and we wish her the very best of luck in the future.
