Granagh National School is a co-educational, rural school in the parish of Granagh and Ballingarry. The school draws most of its pupils from the parish of Granagh. Granagh National School opened its doors in March of 1967. It replaced the old National School which has been refurbished and is now the local Community Centre.
OUR VISION
The Board of Management of the School, in co-operation with the Principal and staff members, aim to create and sustain a safe, healthy educational setting wherein all our pupils can achieve their full potential thus moving on to further education with confidence and self belief. Primary school is not only a preparation for second level education and life in general, it also forms a major part of a child's everyday life.
We strive to ensure that Granagh N.S, is central to the community, forming a close liaison between staff and parents which in turn benefits the child's learning and growth.
